What You'll Do
Clinical
- Assist the doctor during procedures, take digital x-rays, prep and break down treatment rooms
- Maintain sterilization/infection control protocols
- Coronal polishing and fluoride treatments (as certified/permitted)
- Assist with nitrous/sedation monitoring; chart treatment accurately
Patient Experience
- Build trust with kids and anxious patients, keep the vibe calm and fun
- Educate parents on hygiene, treatment, and post-op care
- Anticipate needs and deliver five-star service
Team
- Keep the clinical space clean, organized, and stocked
- Support front office and help the schedule run on time
- Contribute to a positive, accountable team culture
Requirements
- 2+ years dental assisting experience, 1+ year pediatric
- Active Texas RDA license, current CPR cert, digital radiography cert
- Strong communicator and able to give excellent customer service at all times
Nice to Have
- 3+ years pediatric experience, nitrous certification, Spanish-speaking
