OwnPath Wealth Advisors, a private wealth advisory practice of Ameriprise Financial Services, LLC, is seeking a fulltime Licensed Paraplanner. At Ameriprise Financial we help people feel confident about their financial future by providing comprehensive financial planning and investment consulting to families, individuals, and small organizations to help achieve financial goals and simplify their financial lives.
The role of a Paraplanner, is to provide exceptionally friendly, helpful, high-quality service to our clients. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting with client needs, financial plan preparation, trades and managing team member tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Data entry into financial planning software.
- Manage insurance and annuity requests.
- Investment research.
- Review financial statements sent in by clients.
- Assist with client meeting prep.
- Create recommendations for advisor review.
- Complete trades and money movement.
- Cash flow analysis.
- Manage client needs and be available to answer any questions.
To be successful in this role, you must have the following
- NASD/FINRA Series 7, 66, or 63 required.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
- 3-5+ years of similar work experience in the financial services industry.
- Pleasant, professional, and friendly manner with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable interacting and meeting with clients.
- Highly organized, and accurate.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Proven analytical and independent problem-solving skills.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft office including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities.
- Strong personal and business ethics and integrity.
- Desire to grow and learn within the practice.
· We offer a competitive salary range commensurate with relevant experience.
· This role is hybrid eligible and requires at least 1 scheduled day per week in our Maple Grove office.
