American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with RDMS and RVT registries and Level II OB experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a critical access hospital.

Work in a critical access hospital with 2 ultrasound rooms in a 30-bed facility
-
Perform general ultrasound and vascular scanning including abd, pelvis, carotid/venous vascular, ABIs, OB/GYN, small parts, and breast exams
-
Exam time allotted is 30 minutes to 1 hour per case

Uses GE Logic E10, Trophons, and Parks Flolab equipment
-
Charting done in Cerner with Philips Intellispace PACS
-
Schedule is Friday through Tuesday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
-
One night of call per week and one weekend of call per month after working shift, totaling approximately 6-8 call days per month

May float to outpatient ultrasound if proficient

Minimum of 2 years of experience required

BLS certification required

ARDMS registry required (abdomen or OB)

RVT registry preferred

License required if applicable

OB experience required

Must be able to scan general ultrasound with vascular

High risk OB experience preferred

Must follow radiologist exam protocols and complete written exam note templates

Team includes 1 full-time new grad tech and 2 part-time seasoned techs, supplemented by 2 traveling techs

Ideal candidate is a team player who can scan exams within 30-45 minutes, write reports accurately, and maintain a drama-free work environment

Black scrub attire required

Must adhere to facility attendance and confidentiality policies

Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, with no local candidates accepted
