Position Overview:
A premier, midsize CPA firm in the greater Fort Lauderdale area is seeking a motivated Tax Senior to join our expanding team. This role is ideal for an ambitious professional looking for a clear, accelerated pathway for career advancement without the bureaucracy of a large firm. You will work closely with managers and partners, gaining high-level exposure to diverse tax projects while enjoying a collaborative, supportive culture.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review federal and state tax returns for partnerships, corporations, and individuals.

Identify tax savings opportunities and assist with strategic tax planning and research.

Act as a key point of contact for clients, resolving questions and gathering necessary data.

Mentor and guide junior tax staff, providing feedback and supporting their growth.

Stay updated on current federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications:

Experience: 3 or more years of tax experience in public accounting.

Certification: CPA license is not required, but actively pursuing it is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Environment: Experience within a small-to-midsize public accounting firm is a plus.

Skills: Strong technical competency in corporate and partnership taxation.
