Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Rockville Maryland
We are seeking experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) staff with a strong background in serving youth placed in temporary foster care homes.
The ideal candidate must possess the following:
- Prior experience working with youth in foster care, group homes, or residential settings
- Ability to provide 1:1 supervision, safety monitoring, and behavioral support
- Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills
- Excellent communication and documentation skills (progress notes and incident reporting)
- Ability to follow care plans, behavior plans, and agency protocols
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within Southern Maryland
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended shifts as needed
- Professionalism, patience, and trauma-informed care approach
- CPR/First Aid, CMT & CPI certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass Drug Test, Background Check and CPS clearance
