Contract Registered Nurse (RN) – In-Home Aide Services (PRN/1099)

L&J Family Home Care LLC is a growing North Carolina In-Home Aide Services agency dedicated to helping individuals remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their own homes. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical oversight and support our commitment to quality care and regulatory compliance.
Position Summary
This is a flexible PRN/1099 contract position. The RN will travel throughout Wake County to complete required client assessments, supervise In-Home Aide services, validate caregiver competencies, and provide clinical guidance in accordance with North Carolina regulations and agency policies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial client assessments.
- Develop and review individualized Plans of Care.
- Complete required supervisory visits.
- Observe and validate In-Home Aide competencies.
- Provide training and competency sign-offs for In-Home Aides.
- Review documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Communicate significant client concerns to agency leadership.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with the Administrator to ensure compliance with North Carolina home care requirements.
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted North Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience preferred.
- Home care, home health, hospice, case management, or community health experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Wake County.
