Hamp & Harry's is seeking a line cook with a positive attitude, good work ethic and attention to detail to join our team.
Hamp and Harry's emcompasses "community" from it's locally sourced ingredients to communal dining, encourgaing guests to get to know their farmers and their neighbors .We are a chef driven restaurant, we are looking for line cooks that have a passion for food, a desire to learn or looking for a next step in there career / growth opportunities. We are a completely from-scratch kitchen and highly focused on detail, organization, and most of all team work.
Job Description:
Under supervision of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef, responsible for providing team leadership and support in the production and/or service of multiple food products from a specified menu. Assign, lead, and monitor the work of others to ensure quality products and service is delivered to the member. Adhere to all food handling and sanitation guidelines.
Requirments:
- Prepare basic components of each dish on our menu using our proven recipes
- Memorize and utilize our serving portion sizes and all basic meal prep procedures used in the kitchen
- Work with a team and complete portion prep work for other shifts when needed
- Monitor product freshness and rotate out old products based on a schedule created by the restaurant
- High attention to detail

- Experience in fabrication of fish, meat etc.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
