Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service management, with a focus on enhancing customer satisfaction and maintaining high standards in food quality and service. This role requires effective leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment. Must have Pizza Experience and Experience with Fresh Dough
Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste.
- Train, develop, and mentor staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards.
- Handle cash management and POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) efficiently.
- Implement effective shift management practices to optimize productivity.
- Conduct interviews and hire new staff as needed to build a strong team.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting and cost control measures.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in restaurant management or related roles within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food handling, safety protocols, and culinary practices.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Proficient in cash handling and operating various POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS).
- Experience in Pizza Operations, fine dining, casual dining, quick service & fast food environments is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on enhancing guest experiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- Knowledge of training & development techniques for staff improvement.
- Familiarity with kitchen management practices and food production processes.
