Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of nonalcoholic beverages, including specialty drinks, teas, and coffee-based beverages with precision and flair.
- Operate POS systems such as Clover POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and offering product recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness of the barista station and nonalcoholic bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities by processing cash transactions accurately and balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist in food preparation tasks related to café offerings, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
- Support the team with time management duties during busy hours to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
Experience
- No Experience required - however, preferred described below.
- Previous experience working as a barista or in a café environment is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with beverage preparation techniques.
- Proven background in food service or retail sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities.
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Clover POS.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle inquiries professionally.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, change calculation, and order processing.
- Experience in food safety practices, food handling procedures, and maintaining cleanliness standards within a food industry setting.
- Ability to manage time effectively during peak hours while multitasking across beverage crafting, customer interactions, and cleaning duties.
