Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in both electrical, mechanical, welding, and machinery. The ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various equipment and facilities. This role is essential in ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall productivity of our operations.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including logic controllers and wiring schematics.
- Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance to include plumbing.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Assist in the development of preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while performing all duties.
Skills
- Proficient in reading, mathematics, and interpreting schematics for electrical systems.
- Experience with welding techniques for fabricating parts or making repairs.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in facilities maintenance.
- Experience in basic plumbing repair and maintenance.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to diagnosing issues.
