Job Overview
A Customer Operations Coordinator plays a critical role in delivering a seamless customer experience by managing details with precision and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, exceptionally detail-oriented, and able to effectively prioritize competing responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This role requires clear, concise communication with strong punctuation and writing skills, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and confidently engage with external customers. Responsibilities
- Work closely with an offshore operations team to complete a detailed daily review of sales orders for accuracy and completeness.
- Confirm sales orders through the EDI system and/or via email with customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and flag any discrepancies or inconsistencies within sales orders and communicate findings to the Customer Operations Manager.
- Prepare and send daily reports to third-party logistics (3PL) partners, including sales order picklists and related documentation.
- Receive shipping schedules from 3PL partners and accurately update internal schedules used by the warehouse and operations teams.
- Communicate clearly and proactively with the warehouse team regarding shipping schedules, updates, and changes.
- Assist with identifying and resolving data validation issues between EDI and ERP systems, escalating as needed.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and courteous communication to customers regarding sales orders, updates, or changes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and other internal teams to support the resolution of occasional logistical or operational issues.
Experience & Skills
- Bachelor's Degree is Business is preferred; will consider additional college education background and mixture of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to grammar, clarity, and professionalism.
- High attention to detail with the ability to review information carefully and accurately.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Pay: From $25.00 per hour
