We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based position covering a leave of absence supporting early elementary students across two school sites in Winnebago, Illinois.

About the Position:
This is a split-placement role serving two elementary school buildings within the district:

School Site 1: PreK – 2nd Grade building
- School Site 2: 3rd – 5th Grade building
School-Based Psychologists may provide:

Psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility assessments
- Social-emotional and behavioral assessments
- IEP development, finalization, and participation in IEP meetings
- Collaboration with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Consultation and support for teachers and staff
- Progress monitoring and documentation
- Crisis intervention and de-escalation support
- Coordination with community mental health resources and family outreach
Qualifications:

Active Illinois School Psychologist licensure required
- Professional Educator License (PEL) – School Psychologist endorsement required
- Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology required
- Elementary school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Compensation:
This is a W-2 hourly position. Compensation varies based on experience and qualifications. Hourly rates are competitive and negotiable.
