Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Leasing Consultant to join our dynamic property management team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for prospective tenants, guiding them through the leasing process with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your expertise in property leasing, customer service, and administrative management will ensure a seamless experience for clients while maintaining compliance with fair housing regulations and lease agreements. Responsibilities
- Greet prospective tenants promptly and professionally, providing comprehensive information about available units and community amenities.
- Conduct property tours, demonstrating features and answering questions to facilitate leasing decisions.
- Manage lease or rental agreement documentation using property management tools such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms.
- Process applications, verify tenant information, and perform background checks in accordance with legal standards including Section 8 and LIHTC programs.
- Maintain accurate data entry of tenant records, lease details, and correspondence while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with Fair Housing laws.
- Handle client communication via phone, email, and in-person interactions with exceptional customer service skills and positive attitude.
- Assist in upselling additional services or amenities to enhance tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with team members on property maintenance issues, conflict management, and lease negotiations to foster a welcoming community environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in property leasing, real estate administrative roles, or property management companies.
- Strong proficiency with property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or comparable tools.
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 housing programs, LIHTC compliance, and contracts management.
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and client relationship management experience.
- Ability to handle conflict resolution effectively while maintaining a positive outlook.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generation.
- Prior office experience in real estate or facilities management is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for lease management, filing systems, and data accuracy.
- Team management capabilities are a plus for coordinating efforts within a busy leasing environment.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
