Location: Columbus, OH
Pay: $50.00–$55.00 per hour
Setting: Acute Care Hospital
Contract: 13 Weeks (Extension Possible)
Shift: Days | 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week
Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby / Postpartum Opportunity
Are you an experienced Mother Baby RN, Postpartum RN, or Couplet Care Registered Nurse looking for your next travel nursing assignment? We are hiring a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care for postpartum mothers and newborns in a leading acute care hospital in Columbus, OH.
If you have experience in Mother Baby, Postpartum, Labor & Delivery (L&D), Women's Health, or Couplet Care, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Care for postpartum mothers and newborns.
- Perform maternal and newborn assessments.
- Monitor patient conditions and vital signs.
- Administer medications and IV therapy.
- Start and maintain peripheral IVs.
- Educate families on newborn care.
- Support postpartum recovery and breastfeeding.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Float to similar acuity units as needed.
- Document patient care using EPIC EMR.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum 2 years of Mother Baby/Postpartum RN experience.
- Previous Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience.
- Current BLS Certification.
- IV Certification required.
- Strong IV start skills.
- Experience with EPIC EMR.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
