We are a pink barbie theme beauty salon and shop selling hair extensions, lashes, tools and more! Looking for a creative, organized part‑time assistant to come in 2–3x/week (approx. 10 hrs/week) to photograph products, create short videos/content, manage listings, and keep inventory updated. Flexible schedule. Opportunity to grow hours and responsibilities as sales increase.
Key responsibilities
- Photograph products (extensions, lashes, straighteners, etc.) and create short videos/reels for social and listings.
- Ensure each product has clear, organized images (multiple angles when needed) and resize images for website, Google, Amazon, DoorDash, social media, FB Marketplace, OfferUp, etc.
- Post clearance items on FB Marketplace, OfferUp and similar platforms; handle buyer communications and coordinate sales.
- Maintain and update inventory in GlossGenius (or similar). Tag photos to products and keep records accurate.
- Organize and deliver photo/video files in a tidy folder structure for easy use.
- Coordinate with owner on pricing, listings, and content ideas.
Qualifications
- Interest in beauty products (hair, lashes, styling tools).
- Owns a good camera or recent smartphone with a quality camera.
- Has a working laptop/computer for uploading, editing, and posting.
- Basic inventory experience; GlossGenius familiarity a plus.
- Comfortable communicating with customers online—polite, timely, professional.
- Basic photo/video editing skills and ability to size images appropriately for multiple platforms.
- Reliable, organized, detail oriented, and able to work independently in‑shop.
Schedule & commitment
- Part‑time: ~10 hours/week, typically 2–3 visits. Schedule is flexible and coordinated with the owner.
- This role is expected to grow as product sales increase.
