Studio Operations Manager
Kickline Dance Center
- Pay: $21-24 per hour, based on experience
- Schedule: Monday–Thursday approx. 3:00–9:30 PM and Friday 3:00–6:30 PM
- (Benefits: Paid time off, paid holidays, flexible summer schedule, and bonus pay)
- Location: In person — convenient to Bridgeville, Canonsburg, McMurray, Bethel Park, and the South Hills
For over two decades, Kickline Dance Center has helped hundreds of students build confidence and life skills through the performing arts, across 100+ weekly classes. We are looking for an organized, warm, tech-savvy operations manager to keep it running smoothly.
This is a hands-on operations role, not a desk-only job. One day you’re running a big software project or managing the class schedule; the next you’re assisting with an event, organizing costumes for try-ons, restocking the store, serving clients during recital week, or closing the studio down at night by tidying and vacuuming so it’s ready to go tomorrow.
What you’ll do
● Greet students and parents and give them a genuinely warm, helpful experience
● Manage the email inbox and phone messages, responding promptly and kindly
● Handle billing and payment processing, resolving issues carefully and accurately
● Field new-student inquiries — classes, fees, and registration
● Partner with our teachers day to day
● Run newsletters and email lists in Mailchimp
● Own larger studio projects start to finish, including tech-heavy ones
● Assist with event management — prep, setup, breakdown, and day-of logistics
● Manage the studio store and inventory
● Coordinate costume logistics — sizing, try-ons, ordering, and organization
● Help with social media (preferred)
● Close and reset the studio each night — tidy up, take out the trash, and vacuum (a cleaner handles the weekly deep clean)
● Support the studio owner with day-to-day operations
What we’re looking for:
· Reliable availability
· Strong Tech Adaptability, comfortable learning and juggling multiple software tools (billing, scheduling, email, music, dropboxes). You don’t need to know our exact programs, but you pick up new software quickly.
· Ownership and follow-through
· A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
· Excellent, accurate written communication
· Sharp attention to detail
· Warm and professional with both parents and children, and calm when solving problems
· Comfort with social media / Canva a plus (preferred, not required)
· A love of a busy, high-energy environment and an appreciation for the performing arts
