Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Driver's License A Truck Owner Operator and take control of your driving career! As an owner operator, you’ll be responsible for delivering freight across over-the-road routes, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods while adhering to all federal and state regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers and other commercial vehicles on over-the-road (OTR) routes, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and hazardous materials (Hazmat) transport.
- Load and unload freight using manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo is secured properly for transit.
- Navigate routes efficiently using GPS navigation systems to meet delivery schedules while optimizing fuel usage and route planning.
- Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration), DOT (Department of Transportation), hazardous materials regulations, and other relevant safety standards during every trip.
- Deliver freight accurately across various logistics cargo handling scenarios, including automobile transportation and dangerous goods shipments.
- Maintain meticulous records of deliveries, pickups, load & unload activities, and adhere to all safety protocols related to manual transmission driving and truck loading/unloading procedures.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered en route.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License Class A with clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving and delivery driving in various environments such as flatbed or tanker trucks.
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailer operations and hazardous materials regulations (Hazmat).
- Ability to handle manual transmission trucks confidently; experience with manual handling equipment like forklifts is a plus.
- Knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, hazardous materials handling procedures, and safety standards for dangerous goods transportation.
- Experience in truck loading/unloading processes involving freight or logistics cargo handling.
- Strong navigation skills utilizing GPS systems for efficient route planning across OTR routes.

Pay: $5,500.00 - $6,500.00 per week
