Marco Contractors is seeking an experienced Traveling Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. Nationwide travel is required 100% of the time to support our projects across a wide variety of commercial industries, including restaurant, retail, C-Store, hospitality, and medical facilities.The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of similar experience in fast-paced, ground up, and remodel projects, with an understanding of job quality control and job scheduling. A proven record of completing projects on time and within budget is necessary. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, strong problem solvers, and can work with all team members and clients at all levels.Computer literacy, good communications skills, and attention to client satisfaction is a plus. All candidates must submit a resume that includes a list of past projects. Salary is highly competitive and will be based on experience.
Requirements for this position include:
- Nationwide travel in all 50 states, must be able to travel by both vehicle and plane. We cannot guarantee job locations or scope of projects (Tenant Improvement/Ground Up) as we go where we are needed by our clients.
- Must be a "road warrior" this position requires constant travel. You will be assigned anywhere from 12wk to 32wk long projects with trips home approx. every 4 weeks per project. Sometimes going from one project directly to the next depending on business needs.
- Ability to use technology without assistance for daily correspondence and reporting; we utilize Procore and Basecamp for our project management, as well as email/call/text for daily communications.
- Ability to interface and communicate strongly with Clients, Owners Reps, Subcontractors, Co-workers, Inspectors and Jurisdiction personnel to maintain lasting relationships and produce repeat work.
- Must be able to pass a Background Screening, Drug Screening and hold a valid driver's license.
- Must be willing to attend weekly superintendent meetings, continuing education courses, and company trainings as required by the Director of Field Operations.
- Must be able to build a construction schedule, sequence the schedule, and evolve the schedule as jobsite conditions dictate.
Pay: From $95,000.00 per year
