Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, skilled, and professional California State Certified General Electrician to lead residential service projects. You will be responsible for running field projects ranging from whole-house rewires and 200A panel upgrades to EV charger installations and dedicated branch circuits.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute residential electrical projects independently and safely, including:
- Whole-home knob-and-tube or legacy wiring replacements & rewires.
- Main electrical panel upgrades (100A to 200A+ upgrades, subpanels, and meter mains).
- Level 2 EV charger installations and load management devices.
- Dedicated 120V/240V circuits, appliance feeds, and surge protection.
- Recessed lighting, fixture installations, and arc-fault/ground-fault circuit protection upgrades.
- Read layout blueprints, perform load calculations, and ensure all installations comply with current NEC and local California codes.
- Interact directly with homeowners, providing clear explanations, polite communication, and maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Maintain a tidy job site, leaving work areas cleaner than you found them.
- Perform thorough troubleshooting and safety inspections on legacy residential systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification: Must hold an active General Electrician Certification issued by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR/DAS).
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on residential electrical experience (rewires and service panel upgrades preferred).
- Driver’s License: Valid California Driver’s License with a clean, insurable driving record.
- Customer Skills: Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills when working directly with homeowners.
- Work Ethic: Strong troubleshooting ability, sharp attention to detail, and pride in clean, code-compliant craftsmanship.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in crawl spaces/attics, and operate hand and power tools safely.
