Communications Manager - Hybrid Position
Responsibilities:
-Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging
-Coordinate activities with contracted government relations firm
-Coordinate videography and photo opportunities
-Draft and distribute press releases to media outlets; Maintain relationships with media contacts and respond to inquiries
-Coordinate and schedule interviews with company representatives, clients, partners, and more
- Monitor media coverage and compile press clippings
- Create content for company website, social media platforms, and newsletters
- Support internal communication efforts, including employee newsletters and announcements
-Create content for annual impact report, presentations, and more
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related fields required.
-4 or more years of experience, preferred.
Skills:
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all communications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
- Familiarity with public relations practices and principles
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of AP Style guidelines is a plus
-Experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud is a plus
