Director of Special Education
Plans, develops, and implements policies and practices to ensure effective and responsive special education services and programs for the district. Oversees preparation of reports, requirements, and mandates as required by local, state, and federal agencies relating to special education and other duties as assigned by the Superintendent. QUALIFICATIONS : Valid Alabama Department of Education Teacher's Certificate, Valid Alabama Administrative Certification, experience as a local school administrator, and such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate.
