Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Develop and plan diverse menus that meet guest expectations and dietary requirements, incorporating fine dining and catering elements.
- Oversee all aspects of food production, ensuring consistent quality, presentation, and adherence to recipes.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a motivated and efficient team.
- Manage inventory control and food management processes to minimize waste and optimize costs while maintaining high standards of food safety sanitizing procedures.
- Coordinate shift management duties, including scheduling, delegating tasks, and monitoring performance to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards across all kitchen areas.
- Collaborate with the catering and banquet teams to deliver seamless service for special events and large functions.
- Monitor food handling practices, ensuring proper hygiene and safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Implement cost control measures without compromising quality or guest satisfaction.
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality, fostering a positive atmosphere within the team.
Experience
- Proven culinary experience in fine dining environments with a strong background in food preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading culinary teams in fast-paced settings such as restaurants or catering operations.
- Extensive banquet experience with knowledge of catering logistics and large-scale event execution.
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and food safety sanitizing protocols is highly desirable.
- Experience managing inventory control systems, cost management strategies, and food industry standards.
- Previous restaurant management or food service management experience is preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams, manage shifts effectively, and uphold high standards of hospitality.
- Knowledge of bartending is a plus for roles involving beverage service alongside culinary duties.
