Ashworth Gravel & Stone is hiring Quarry Laborers for our active aggregate quarry in North Oxford, MA. We produce and supply quality crushed stone, gravel, and construction aggregates to builders and contractors across Worcester County.
ABOUT ASHWORTH
Ashworth Gravel & Stone is a local Worcester County producer delivering affordable, high-quality aggregate materials. Conveniently located directly on Route 20 in North Oxford with easy access to I-290, I-395, I-90, and Route 56. We focus on steady production and reliable supply — no short seasons, just consistent quarry work.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Assist in quarry operations including material handling, loading, and processing
- Support crushing, screening, and conveyor system maintenance and operation
- Perform general labor tasks: shoveling, sweeping, site cleanup, and ground support around equipment
- Work safely alongside loaders, haul trucks, and heavy machinery
- Help manage stockpiles and maintain product quality
- Use hand and power tools effectively
- Follow all MSHA safety standards and quarry protocols at all times
- Work with experienced operators and quarry team members
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Prior experience in construction, quarry, mining, or heavy labor (preferred)
- Willingness to work hard and learn quarry processes on the job
- Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and remain active in all weather conditions
- Comfort working outdoors in a dusty, noisy, industrial quarry environment
- Basic knowledge of tools, equipment, and safety procedures
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- MSHA certification a plus (training provided for qualified candidates)
