Backyard Oasis Pools is seeking a dependable and hardworking Equipment Operator / Skilled Pool Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This position is hands-on and ideal for someone experienced in operating heavy equipment while also assisting with all phases of swimming pool construction. We are looking for an individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with a team, and is willing to jump in wherever needed to complete projects efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Operate excavating equipment to dig and prepare pool sites
- Read and understand pool layout plans and elevations
- Assist with pool framing and forming
- Install and tie rebar according to project specifications
- Perform general construction and labor tasks throughout pool builds
- Assist with site preparation, grading, and cleanup
- Work closely with project managers and crew members to keep projects on schedule
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean job site
Preferred Skills (Strong Plus):
- Waterline tile installation
- Coping installation
- Concrete decking experience
- Paver installation
- Basic masonry or finish work experience
- Ability to operate skid steers, mini excavators, and excavators
- Experience in swimming pool construction preferred
Requirements:
- Construction experience required
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor environments
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compensation:

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
