SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that will continuously improve market share and profitability for the MacNaughton Hospitality Hotel portfolio. This position will work in conjunction with MacNaughton Hospitality’s Director of Sales and Marketing, and the hotel’s General Manager, to execute sales performance and produce results for the hotel’s ownership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide leadership in sales for the hotel’s in order to improve performance.
- Maintain a good awareness of Oahu market conditions, pricing trends, seasonality and mix of business.
- Exceed budgeted rooms revenues and demonstrate positive RevPAR penetration growth for the hotel.
- Conduct regular property visits and of competitor hotels to identify areas of opportunity and develop strategic action plans.
- Build/maintain relationships and trust with property GM through consistent and honest communication.
- Communicate regularly with Regional Director of Sales and Marketing
- Strategy regarding progress toward goals, resources needed and resources consumed.
- Develop relationships with HTA contractors including HVCB & OVB.
- Meet and develop relationships with top accounts for the Hotel.
- Conduct property site visits with wholesale, group and travel agents.
- Work with Corporate Marketing team to ensure marketing represents the appropriate image and tone for the properties.
- Assist with developing topline forecasts for the hotel.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of three (3) years of work experience in a hotel sales field or sales related position, ideally with Waikiki market experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent organization; excellent analytical skills; and strong ability to quickly get things done.

- Long hours and travel may be required, including nights and weekends.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
- Medium Work – Ability to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects; ability to stand for long hours at a time.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
