Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our café team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality coffee and food items. As a Barista, you will be the face of our café, creating a positive experience for every guest.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks using standard recipes and techniques.
- Operate POS systems for order processing, payments, and cash handling.
- Manage multiple orders efficiently while maintaining quality and speed during busy periods.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest calmly and respectfully ensuring satisfaction.
- Handle food safety protocols, including proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, equipment, and dining areas in compliance with health standards.
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management.
- Promote sales by suggesting menu items and upselling when appropriate.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to food service and beverage preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in food service is preferred.
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and familiarity with food safety standards.
- Experience with POS systems is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and retail math calculations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $10.00 - $20.00 per hour
