The bakery case has attractive and fresh products

The bakery case is well stocked and pleasing

Appropriate signage identifies bakery products

Your guests are attended to in a timely manner and provided with superior service

Invite guests back and pass out coupons/information

Communicate with Bakery Department Lead.

Maintain a pleasant working relationship with entire Country Store staff.

Keep department cases and display areas stocked and the product rotated according to product standards.

Attend to counter to assist guests with product selection, packaging, questions and any other requests.
-
Maintain department product displays and signage.
-
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work station and surrounding areas.
-
Sample department products to guests.
-
Take orders and place the orders in the appropriate spot.

Be aware of new products and their placement.
-
Maintain tidy storage and supply areas.
-
Document product transfers, waste and spoilage using appropriate forms.
-
Practice safe use of tools and equipment required by the position.
-
Wash dishes and utensils when necessary.
-
Slice and package bakery breads.
-
Follow all guidelines and procedures outlined in department and health and safety manuals and as set by the management team.

Performs other duties as needed or assigned.
Physical/Visual Activities or Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, stoop and crouch, push, pull, reach, grasp, feel, talk and hear.

Generally light physical effort. The employee is required to lift more than 50 lbs. rarely and/or 5 to 25 lbs. occasionally.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include clarity of vision at a distance of 20 inches or less with the ability to judge distance and space relationships along with adjusting the eye to bring objects into sharp focus.
Environmental/Atmospheric Conditions: Environmental and atmospheric conditions commonly associated with the performance of the functions of this job. Good working conditions.
Knowledge: Job requires a high school diploma or GED; previous customer service experience preferred.
