Personal Injury Practice Manager
Location: Valley Village / Sherman Oaks, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $65,000–$80,000 per year (based on experience)
About Us
SoCal Pain Experts is a growing interventional pain management practice specializing in the treatment of personal injury patients. We work closely with attorneys, case managers, surgery centers, imaging facilities, and other healthcare providers to deliver timely, high-quality patient care.
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive Practice Manager to oversee the daily administrative operations of the practice and help build scalable systems as we continue to grow.
This is not a receptionist position. This is a leadership role for someone who enjoys creating order, solving problems, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
ResponsibilitiesPractice Operations
- Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the practice
- Coordinate workflows between physicians, medical assistants, and administrative staff
- Develop and improve office systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintain task lists and ensure timely completion of operational priorities
- Identify workflow inefficiencies and recommend improvements
Attorney & Case Management Communication
- Serve as the primary administrative contact for attorneys and case managers
- Coordinate referrals, records requests, medical reports, and lien documentation
- Draft professional correspondence and follow-up communications
- Track outstanding requests and ensure timely responses
- Build and maintain strong relationships with referring law firms
Patient Coordination
- Monitor patient progression from referral through completion of care
- Coordinate scheduling with imaging centers, surgery centers, and specialty providers
- Ensure documentation is complete and properly routed
- Help resolve scheduling or administrative issues
Billing & Administrative Support
- Assist with personal injury billing workflows and collections
- Track outstanding balances and lien follow-up
- Coordinate with billing vendors as needed
- Monitor operational metrics and reporting
Team Leadership
- Assist with staff training and onboarding
- Help implement new systems and technology
- Maintain accountability across administrative workflows

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing a medical practice or healthcare office
- Experience working in a personal injury law firm, medical lien company, or personal injury medical practice strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
