The Greenkeeper is responsible for performing a variety of tasks involved in the maintenance, upkeep, and overall condition of the golf course and surrounding grounds. This position plays a key role in ensuring top-quality playing conditions by supporting daily mowing, trimming, bunker raking, and other cultural practices as directed by the Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent.

Perform daily mowing of greens, tees, fairways, and roughs using walk-behind and riding mowers.

Rake and maintain bunkers to consistent standards.

Edge, trim, and blow debris from turf and landscaped areas.

Assist with course set-up including tee markers, hole locations, and hazard marking.

Operate small equipment including utility vehicles, blowers, and trimmers.

Perform sod installation, seeding, topdressing, aerification, and other turf cultural practices.

Assist with irrigation setup, hand watering, and minor repairs.

Maintain tools and equipment in clean and safe working condition.

Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE as needed.

Report any issues or abnormalities to supervisory staff promptly.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous experience in golf course or landscape maintenance a plus, but not required.

Ability to safely operate small machinery and hand tools.

Willingness to learn and follow instructions.

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Hourly Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 (DOE)
