Purpose
To support worship and ministry through excellent audio and lighting production. This role is primarily responsible for creating high-quality front-of-house and livestream audio mixes, maintaining and troubleshooting existing production systems, supporting stage setup and signal flow, and making routine lighting adjustments to support worship services and events.

- Demonstrated experience mixing live audio in a church, concert, or comparable live-production environment.
- Familiarity with digital audio consoles, signal flow, stage routing, monitor mixes, and livestream audio production.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Able to remain calm and communicate effectively in live-service environments.
- Willing to continue learning and developing technical skills.
ResponsibilitiesBefore Services
- Prepare audio and lighting systems for worship services and events.
- Verify stage setup, patching, routing, signal flow, and equipment functionality.
- Conduct line checks, sound checks, and monitor checks.
- Coordinate with the Worship Director regarding service flow and production needs.
During Services
- Create and maintain high-quality front-of-house and livestream audio mixes.
- Operate lighting systems and make routine adjustments to existing lighting scenes as needed.
- Respond to technical issues and service changes in real time.
- Support worship leaders, musicians, speakers, and ministry participants.
- Ensure a consistent, distraction-free production environment that supports worship and ministry.
After Services
- Identify and document technical issues.
- Assist with equipment care, organization, and maintenance.
- Communicate any concerns, recommendations, or recurring issues to the Worship Director.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend Thursday & Friday night worship rehearsal (6:30pm-8pm) and all Sunday morning services (6:30am - 2:00pm) to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
- Attend Staff prayer
- Attend All Staff meeting (2nd & 4th Tuesday of each month at 1pm)
- Help with special church events
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and move production equipment up to 50 pounds and perform setup activities as needed.
Scope of Role
This position is primarily focused on the operation, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of the church's existing production systems. This includes audio mixing, stage routing, signal flow verification, monitor support, and routine lighting adjustments.
Recommendations for improvements are welcomed and valued; however, major infrastructure changes, system redesigns, equipment purchasing decisions, and long-term production planning remain under the direction of church leadership.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
