Responsibilities
- Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Clear tables efficiently, removing used dishes and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
- Assist servers with food running duties during busy service periods to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Support food preparation tasks as needed, including plating and garnishing under chef supervision.
- Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Toast
- Uphold food safety standards by handling dishes and utensils properly and following sanitation protocols.
- Provide excellent guest service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and proper sanitation practices.
- Experience with POS systems such as Toast is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting trays and moving quickly between tables.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team.
- Familiarity with food preparation, serving techniques, and bussing is a plus.
- Hospitality or hotel experience can be beneficial but is not required; a passion for guest services is essential.
