WHAT YOU GET TO DO
The Payroll Administrator will primarily focus on processing full-cycle payroll and some Benefits and HR administrative tasks. The ideal candidate holds an academic HR background combined with work experience in HR daily practices along with payroll experience.
Responsibilities and Job Functions:

Processing accurate and timely payroll in compliance with federal and state regulations and company policy

Process bi-weekly payroll for all hourly and salaried staff, as assigned

Setup and maintain employee’s voluntary/involuntary deductions, to include all garnishments, 401K, and other approved deductions as applicable

Review employee payroll transactions including new hires, status changes, and terminations

Setup employee’s tax-related information upon hire and changes as necessary

Assist with the reconciliations of the general ledger for all payroll related accounts

Answer any questions that employees might have about their pay and work to resolve any issues that arise

Assist with generating reports

Work in conjunction with and support the Human Resources department across the entire organization

All other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU HAVE
-
2-4 years’ experience in payroll administration
-
Payroll certification (FPC, CPP, or equivalent) required
-
Ability to work with confidential information
-
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with attention to detail and accuracy
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, with advanced Excel skills to include lookup and pivot tables
-
Experience and proficiency working with ADP Workforce Now
-
Ability to process garnishments and payroll tax returns efficiently
Working Conditions and Environment:

Authorization to work in the U.S.

Passport or ability to obtain passport

Professional office etiquette is required at all times

Physical requirements: sitting for long periods of time, standing, walking, speaking, visual acuity, finger dexterity, listening, reaching at arm’s length, and lifting up to 30 pounds
