Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive lessons on skincare, facials, makeup application, body waxing, eyelash extensions, and other aesthetic treatments
- Develop and implement detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices
- Supervise and mentor students during practical sessions, ensuring safety and skill development
- Provide constructive feedback to support student progress and confidence in their abilities
- Assess student performance through evaluations and practical demonstrations
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, professionalism, and continuous learning
Requirements
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with expertise in skincare, massage therapy, cosmetology, or related fields
- Prior classroom or training experience in adult education or cosmetology/esthetics instruction preferred
- Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to esthetic treatments and body therapies such as trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage
- Skilled in a variety of beauty services including facials, makeup application, nail care, eyelash extensions, hair threading, and body waxing.
- Ability to develop engaging lesson plans and mentor students effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a passion for teaching and inspiring others
- Certification or licensure as an esthetician or cosmetologist is highly desirable
