Full Job Description
BTI Communications Group is hiring a Lead Security / Low Voltage Technician & Estimator for our Phoenix market.
This role is for a proven field technician who is already trusted with customers, service calls, troubleshooting, documentation, site walks, and field coordination. We are looking for someone who takes pride in being the person customers and project managers rely on when the system needs to work.
This is a hands-on field role supporting commercial customers throughout the Phoenix area. The position reports to BTI’s Phoenix office and data center and includes regular work at customer sites across the market.
The right candidate will be comfortable working from a company vehicle, handling service calls personally, troubleshooting problems in the field, walking sites, helping estimate work, and coordinating with project managers, vendors, technicians, and subcontractor installation teams.
This is not a desk-only estimating role. It is a growth opportunity for a strong field technician who wants more responsibility, more customer involvement, and a broader role with an established technology integrator.
About BTI Communications Group

- Support project handoff, quality control, and field coordination
- Coordinate with BTI project managers, engineers, vendors, technicians, and subcontractor installation teams
- Communicate professionally with customers, property managers, general contractors, vendors, and internal team members
- Represent BTI professionally in the field
- Work from a company vehicle and personally handle field service needs when required
- Help ensure service work and installations meet BTI standards for reliability, workmanship, documentation, and customer experience
