Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. This role is essential in providing a welcoming environment for our guests and maintaining the overall appearance of our facilities.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas, ensuring all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, and sanitized.
- Execute floor care tasks including sweeping, mopping, and polishing as required.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitation to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to implement best practices for cleanliness and efficiency.
- Assist in training new housekeeping staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred; hotel experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and chemicals used in custodial work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
