Duties
- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning dishes according to standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
- Support food running and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests or dining areas
- Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of supplies and equipment following safe lifting practices
- Follow food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling and storage procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and customer service enhances your ability to excel in this role
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and in-person customer interactions
- Knowledge of food safety standards and culinary practices is advantageous
