ABOUT: Ho-Ho-Kus, Inc. is a growing company, and we are looking for you to grow with us! We are an AS9100 Aerospace company producing aircraft components and we are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our workforce in the Q.A. department. The position is full-time, M-F.
REPORTS TO: Q.A. Manager
SCOPE: Hours are 2nd shift M-F 3:00PM to 11:30PM
Verify that incoming, in-process and outgoing material and associated quality records meets quality standards of the company and/or the customer. Verify the condition, quantity and paperwork associated with customer returns and supplied material. Must be trained and qualified to use a wide variety of inspection/test equipment and instruments. Must be able to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and be able to calibrate measuring instruments per internal procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Inspection of product per requirements.
2. Completion of first article inspection reports and test reports.
3. Adherence to procedures for all documented processes.
4. Inspect and assure that all incoming material meets company specifications.
5. Assign lot numbers to all incoming material and or products.
6. Prepare documents for related to material or process certifications.
7. Willing to become proficient with new equipment and methods.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a minimum of high school degree or equivalent.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND TRAINING:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing and production environment.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
