Duties
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications
- Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, mixers, and slicing tools efficiently and safely
- Maintain strict food safety sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and hygienic work environment
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new pizza varieties and seasonal specials
- Manage food production during peak hours, ensuring timely delivery without compromising quality
- Handle food handling responsibilities with care, including ingredient storage and portion control
- Support overall kitchen operations by participating in food prep tasks like braising, poaching, grilling, and meal preparation as needed
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting, especially in pizza making or similar culinary roles
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely
- Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures
- Experience with high-volume production environments and recipe adherence under pressure
- Background in dietary aide work or dietary department experience is a plus for accommodating special dietary needs
- Skilled in menu planning, catering, and fine dining food presentation techniques
- Excellent food handling skills combined with a solid understanding of cooking methods such as braising, grilling, and poaching

Pay: $25.76 - $31.02 per hour
