Duties
- Deliver engaging robotics lessons and workshops tailored to various age groups and skill levels
- Develop and adapt instructional materials that align with curriculum goals and student needs
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment
- Provide one-on-one tutoring or small group support to reinforce concepts and troubleshoot technical issues
- Utilize online instruction platforms to facilitate remote learning sessions when necessary
- Assess student progress through observations, projects, and assessments; provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with colleagues to improve curriculum content and incorporate new educational technologies
Requirements
- Proven experience in classroom management and delivering engaging instruction in STEM or related fields
- Strong skills in instructional materials development, including creating hands-on activities and lesson plans
- Prior experience tutoring or coaching students in robotics, coding, or technology-based subjects
- Familiarity with online instruction tools and virtual classroom management
- Experience working with children or youth programs; excellent communication skills for diverse audiences
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and adult education teaching experience is a plus
- Ability to foster a supportive environment for learners of all ages; patience and adaptability are essential
- Background in teaching foreign languages or childcare is advantageous but not required
