Job Summary
We’re looking for friendly, energetic Crew Members to join our team at Baskin Robbins Castro Valley. In this role, you’ll be the face of our brand, providing great customer service while preparing delicious ice cream treats and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and treats.
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, including scooping ice cream, making sundaes, milk shakes etc. and handling toppings.
- Operate POS system to process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of the store, including cleaning equipment, sanitizing work surfaces, and restocking supplies.
- Ability to work well with others -- Be a Team player
- Support food handling and sanitation protocols to ensure food safety and quality.
- Upsell products by suggesting add-ons or promotions to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
- Assist with cash handling duties, including cash register operations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food preparation, cashiering, or retail is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, sales transactions, and inventory management.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick service or fast-food environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is beneficial.
- Good time management skills to ensure timely service during busy hours.
