To provide supervision over the C N A ‘s & Client’s
Qualifications:
1. Current Georgia license as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of 1-3 years' nursing experience desirable.
- Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team
setting as well as independently.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Has never been shown by credible evidence to have abused neglected, sexually assaulted, exploited, or deprive
any person or to have subject any persons to serious
injury as result of intentional or grossly negligent
misconduct as evidence by an oral or written statement
to this effect obtained at time of application.
- Have not made any false statements concerning
qualifications requirements either to the department of this agency.
Training: Orientation to private home care services and any
other training that may be necessary to complete the
assigned duties effectively. The RN is responsible
for assessing the client (s) for
their needs and for developing, implementing and
evaluation a plan of care. The Staff
RN provides supervisory visit on an ongoing basis, In accordance with the private home care standards of care.
The RN shall:
- Assess, develop a plan of care, with goals
defined by the patient, family and the Tender Loving Care Private Home Care team.
- Provide nursing services ( treatment of
symptoms, preventive measures, etc.) according
to the plan of care that has been developed. The
staff nurse may be also offer other types of Private
Home Care services offered by Tender Loving Care
Private Home Care.
- Inform the patient's physician (MD) of any pertinent change in their condition.
- Make nursing services available on an ongoing
basis:
- Make home visits every 60 to 62 days or when
needed
- Assist in providing 24-hour on-call service seven days a week.
- Serve as a member of the Tender Loving Care
Private Home Care team.
- Supervises PSA, sitter, and companion services provided to assigned patients.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor of
the Administrator.
