Full Time Co-Teacher (Age: 8months- 16 months, 17 months- 2 years, 4-5 year olds)
Duties:
- Provide a safe and caring environment for all children
- Assist teacher in implementing lesson plans and curriculum
- Provide age appropriate learning opportunities
- Collaborate with co-teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to director and parents/guardians
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment
- Maintain state regulations in your classroom
- Follow all diaper and safe sleep practices
- Clearly communicate with families via ProCare
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a daycare or educational setting
- Strong knowledge and understanding of child development principles
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine interest in the well-being and success of students
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs of students
- Basic knowledge of physical education and math concepts
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible
