Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Electrical/Mechanical Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring that manufacturing operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a strong commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork within a fast-paced environment. An Electrical and Mechanical Technician combines expertise in electrical systems and mechanical systems to maintain, repair, and optimize machinery and equipment.
Duties
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and product quality.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve production goals and maintain workflow.
- Document production processes, including quality checks and equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in training new employees on equipment operation and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Background in Electrical maintenance.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in manufacturing or related field.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate various types of machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical Drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn new processes and adapt to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed. Required to have availability for off shifts.
