Mental Health Therapist - Intensive In-Home Behavioral Health Treatment (IIBHT)
Worksite Location: Hood River and The Dalles
Home Office: The Dalles
Work Schedule: Full-Time; 40 hours per week; Monday – Friday; 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Salary Range: $64,376 - $72,425 per year
Bilingual Differential Pay: $0.50 per hour worked
Reports to: Clinical Program Manager

Who are we looking for?
The Mental Health Therapist provides mental health services to children, youth and families that are person centered, e.g., cultural, informed, gender specific, age appropriate, and evidence based.
What you will do…
- Provide a Mental Health Assessment inclusive of Mental Status Examination on each identified Treatment Services client following the OAR’s for outpatient mental health, day treatment, and/or IIBHT services.
- Establish a treatment plan based on a current assessment and information provided by the referring agency for each identified client.
- Provide mental health and/or family services as indicated by the service plan. Services may include, but are not limited to individual and group therapy, family therapy, skill building, case management, and other mental health services.
- Provide crisis counseling, interventions, and support as needed, suicide evaluation, grief counseling, etc.
- Chart the assessment, services plan, and daily notes in an accurate timeline as identified through the Oregon Administrative Rules.
- Keep client files current and up to date as required by the MHO.
- Consult with other professionals concerning identified clients or professionals directly involved in providing services for the clients.
- Coordinate with other service providers, schools, and involved individuals and agencies.
- Participate with the identified treatment team in the development, implementation, and delivery of treatment.
- Observe confidentiality, civil rights, and other rights as established by the therapy agreement.
- Make referrals for additional services and/or work with clients to obtain necessary services.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Education, Experience, and Requirements…
Required:
- Master’s degree in Human Services or a related field
- Experience in mental health and family therapy including assessment, treatment planning and service delivery.
- Must meet credentialing requirements as a Qualified Mental Health Professional
- To be a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, the Mental Health Therapist must have an LPC License.
- Valid driver’s license with auto liability insurance
- Successful completion of a comprehensive background check
