Oro Tax Advisors is looking for an experienced Tax Strategist to join our dynamic team! The Tax Strategist serves as the primary technical architect of our advisory services, analyzing complex business entities, financial statements, and historical returns to design transformative tax mitigation strategies. This individual will lead high-level strategy presentations, translate complex tax concepts into actionable financial blueprints, and collaborate closely with our Project Managers and fulfillment team to ensure seamless implementation. This is a high-impact, collaborative role that blends advanced tax knowledge with consultative client delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Forensic Tax Analysis: Conduct comprehensive diagnostic reviews of client business financials, corporate structures, and prior tax returns to uncover key tax savings opportunities.
- Custom Strategy Blueprinting: Design and model customized, multi-tiered tax mitigation plans leveraging entity structuring, retirement planning, cost segregation, deductions, and advanced wealth preservation strategies.
- Consultative Strategy Delivery: Lead Strategy Discovery and Plan Presentation calls with business owners, articulating complex tax concepts clearly and illustrating quantifiable ROI.
- Cross-Functional Implementation: Collaborate with Project Managers and Tax Preparers to oversee the tactical rollout and execution of approved tax strategies.
- Quarterly Strategic Advisory: Partner with Project Managers during periodic client reviews to adjust tax strategies as client revenues, assets, or corporate goals evolve.
- Technical Authority: Serve as the firm’s senior technical resource for complex tax planning questions, escalating issues appropriately and maintaining gold-standard accuracy.
- Process & Workflow Integrity: Maintain comprehensive project records, task tracking, and milestone updates within Karbon and ClickUp to ensure timely deliverable handoffs.
- Culture & Excellence: Support overall team goals by contributing to a culture of accountability, collaboration, and technical excellence.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field required. (Master’s in Taxation or JD preferred).
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Tax Attorney credential required.
- 4+ years of dedicated experience in proactive tax planning, corporate entity structuring, and advisory services for business owners and high-net-worth individuals.
- Comfortable with professional tax planning software, project management tools (Karbon, ClickUp), and Google Workspace.
- Strong written/verbal communication; ability to engage confidently with diverse, high-net-worth business owners and executives.
- Proven ability to manage multiple complex strategy deliverables and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Highest level of professionalism, analytical precision, and ethical standards.
Compensation:
- Salary: $125,000 - $175,000
