- Prepare food according to approved menus, recipes, and portion standards
- Support timely productions and service of all scheduled meals
- Maintain food quality, temperature, and presentation
- Perform dishwashing and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas
- Food safety and compliance:
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
- Complete required temperature logs and cleaning checklists
- Maintain clean/organized workstations
- Comply with inspection and regulatory requirements
- Kitchen operations support:
- Assist with prep, cooking, and service
- Support proper storage, labeling, and inventory rotations
- Receive and put away deliveries
- Participate in daily cleaning and closing procedures
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience working in a high volume culinary setting (SUD, long-term care, or health care preferred, but not required)
