Cornerstone Physical Therapy and Wellness is looking for a passionate and motivated Licensed Acupuncturist to work closely with our medical staff to provide patients with an alternative treatment for pain and a number of other issues. As Cornerstone continues to grow, we aim to bring together talented professionals in order to provide our patients with comprehensive healthcare services. Our goal is to meet clients where they are and to support them in making positive, sustainable change. Patients will be scheduled and screened by the office so the acupuncturist can treat efficiently. No need to advertise or market themselves.
Responsibilities include:
- Assess patient medical condition by reviewing medical history, listening to patient concerns, and performing physical examinations.
- Performs acupuncture techniques and treatment procedures, including electroacupuncture, cupping, gua sha.
- Superior communication skills; able to communicate TCM concepts as well as scientific /physiological concepts to patients with clarity and ease
- Completion of documentation and billing for each visit in a timely manner.
- Maintains hygienic standards, including clean needle techniques
- Responsible for equipment maintenance and safety
Requirements
- Applicants must have a valid license in the state of CA and malpractice insurance.
- Current BLS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to multi-task
- Team player attitude
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written communication skills
- Hands-on PC compatible computer knowledge, understanding and skill
