Travel Cath Lab/ Tech – Interventional Cardiology

Assignment: 13 weeks
Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Schedule: 4 × 10-hour shifts with call
About the Opportunity
Join the Cath Lab team at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia, a leading cardiac care facility and regional hub for advanced cardiovascular services.
This assignment is ideal for an experienced Cath Lab RN or RCIS/Tech with strong critical-care skills and experience supporting complex cardiac interventions.
Unit & Facility
- Hospital: Memorial Health University Medical Center
- Location: Savannah, GA
- Unit: Cath Lab – Interventional Labs
- Facility: Heart & Vascular Tower
- Cath Labs: 3 total — 2 dedicated Cath Labs and 1 hybrid OR
- Patient Ratio: 1:1
- Typical Team: 3–4 person teams with 2 RNs and 2 Techs
- Documentation: EPIC Cupid
- Floating: Not required
- Cardiac Care: Level I Cardiac Care Designation
- Regional hub for advanced cardiac services
Required Experience
Must Have:
- Cath Lab experience
- Critical care experience
- Experience with critical-care drip management
- Experience with RHC/LHC
- Experience with CTO and complex interventions
- BLS and ACLS
Preferred:
- Structural Heart experience
- Experience with advanced/interventional cardiac procedures
Procedures & Technology
The Cath Lab performs a wide range of advanced cardiovascular procedures, including:
- Right & Left Heart Catheterization (RHC/LHC)
- Complex PCI
- CTO interventions
- TAVR
- TMVR / Mitral Clips
- Watchman procedures
- PFO closure
- ASD/VSD closure
- Temporary pacemaker (TVP) placement
- Impella CP & RP
- IABP
The department utilizes advanced technology including IVUS, Shockwave, DFR, FFR, Rotablator, IABP, Impella, and TVP.
Schedule
- 4 × 10-hour shifts
- 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Call required
- No floating
