Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, installation techniques, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. this position will require staying out of town on some projects.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment including loaders, paver, roller, and perform various tasks on construction sites.
- Collaborate with team members to pave surfaces and complete construction projects according to specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating machinery to minimize risks on the job site.
Skills
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with loaders, skid steers, rollers, pavers.
- Strong knowledge of installation techniques related to asphalt projects.
- Ability to dig and prepare sites for building operations effectively.
- Familiarity with asphalt processes and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork on construction sites.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety standards at all times.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
