About the Role
A private medical practice located on Main Street in Fairfax, VA is seeking a dedicated, patient-centered Physician (MD) to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and shape a modern practice from the ground up while delivering high-quality clinical care in a supportive, full-time outpatient environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care, diagnoses, and treatment plans for outpatient adult and/or family practice patients.
- Maintain complete and accurate electronic health records (EHR) in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to establish efficient practice workflows and exceptional patient care standards.
- Conduct routine wellness exams, manage chronic conditions, and address acute health concerns.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic health conditions, providing appropriate treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Utilize electronic health record system documentation and communication.
- Engage in professional development and stay updated on best practices in primary care.
Qualifications
- Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Virginia (or ability to obtain prior to start).
- Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or a related primary care specialty.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of prior clinical experience required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $250,000 for the first year of employment.
- Performance Bonus: Opportunity for a performance-based bonus awarded after one year of completed service, subject to a satisfactory performance evaluation.
- Malpractice Coverage: Full medical malpractice insurance provided by the employer.
- Paid Time Off: 7 days of paid vacation after completion of one year of continuous service.
